    Comments:

I've been using the Forklift for about 4 years now. I haven't had a single issue. It seems very sturdy and stable, easy to use, road bike or mountain bike. I recently purchased another, maybe a year ago, again, not a single issue, very simple and easy to use.

    Comments:

I bought 2 to tote my wifes bike and mine. I installed it on the factory roof rack of my 2007 Kia Sorento. I had to do some minor adjustments to get it nice and tight. I gave this a rating of 4 because as the instructions say when installing these, your rear hatch may hit the back of these. It does. Also, the wind noise is a little bit more noticeable but livable in the stock installation. One thing I did do to the stock front roof rack was to dis-assemble it and take it down to a local machine shop where I had them drill new holes to move the front bar forward. This made it so that I could move the bike rack more forward making it so I could open the rear hatch with out hitting them. The machine shop was nice enough to do it for free even though I offered to pay them. Moving these forward like this increases the wind noise a lot, especially when the sun roof is open, but I use these on occasion, not everyday. I found that when the bikes are on racks, the bikes tend to whistle. If it's not one thing it's another right? So if you do decide to modify your stock roof rack think about this... Do you wont that whistle above you or behind you? Something to consider. Other then that The Yakima Forklifts work great! No problem so far.

Found the Forklift easy to mount to both my YAkima racks and my wifes factory roof racks. Easy to adjust the skewer between my road bike and mountain bike as well. Thumbs up.
