Whether you're headed uptown, downtown, or anywhere in between, the Aventura Speed from Focus is the ticket to fast and fun city riding. The Impulse 2.0 mid-drive motor takes the sting out of your commute. It's torque sensitive and activated by your pedal effort to preserve a true cycling experience and enable you to go further, faster. With a 250 wH (watt hour) lithium ion battery you've got power to spare, and you can monitor your range and a lot of other helpful data on the big, easy-to-read LCD display. The RS suspension fork smooths out less-than-perfect city pavement. Shimano's Alfine drivetrain always shifts smoothly, and Magura's hydraulic brakes give you smooth stopping power and modulation.
The internal shift sensor detects gear shifting operations and interrupts the power assist for fractions of a second so that shifting is as quick and smooth as with a "normal" bike.
Shift interruption can be personalised on the control panel from 50 ms to 300 ms in 50 ms intervals.

?The Focus Aventura Impulse 2.0 is a value priced but still high-end electric bike offering an active frame and bar design that's great for commuting or touring, 100+ mile range in lower assist levels. Available in two low-step and three high-step sizes, quick release wheels, dynamo powered LED lights, fenders, chain guard and premium cargo rack with included mini-pump. Modest 250 watt motor performs well but requires active rider input, shift detection is extremely smooth and effective, two year warranty from an established European company offers peace of mind.
